Help
Wildmoot is a noticeboard for a group of friends organising something. Everyone on it has a personal link that arrives by text or email, and opening that link is the whole of signing in. Anything the organisers decide matters is sent to you; everything else waits on the board until you look.
The promise: one link, no login; you'll always be told what matters; you can hang around if you want.
The pages
- Your link — what your link is, why not to forward it, and what to do if you lose it.
- The board — the three kinds of notice, "Got it", answering, deadlines and what happens when one closes.
- The road — the drawing at the top of the board, and where your figure stands.
- The chat — the chat at the foot of the board, mentions, and the daily digest.
- How you're reached — Your settings: texts, email and push, notifications, your figure, turning any of it off, and stopping everything.
- Push, WhatsApp and Discord — setting up the extra ways to be reached, and what their cards say.
- Joining an event — the shared link, picking your name, and asking to join.
- Privacy — who sees what, what's stored, and how to leave.
For organisers:
- The People page — who has been reached and who has dealt with what, adding people, letting them in, and fixing a number.
- Posting notices — announcements and questions, what they cost, reminders, editing, closing and taking down.
- Event settings — starting an event, permissions, dry run, the front door, and a new event from this one.
